Booking

What does the trip price include?

We include all lodging, meals and beverages*, including adult beverages. Custom bicycles adapted to every guest needs are also included in the price. You will also receive a cycling kit and all transportation during the trip. Not included are your pre- and post-trip travel (flights, hotels, etc.)
*Beverages ordered by guests beyond normal amounts, special drinks not listed on menus or beverages ordered away from group activities will incur in additional charges.

Does TourSport take care of flights and pre trip accommodation?

For the moment, we do not offer any pre or post trip packages so we cannot make flight bookings or make any hotel reservations before or after your trip. We don’t work with any travel company that can offer you that service so if someone contacts you on our behalf, please let us know.

Where do I have to arrive in order to start my trip with you?

We include you in the price a pick up at Bologna (train station or airport). If not, the meeting point is at the hotel at Modena or Maranello, depending on where do you start your trip. Please contact us if you want more information about the pick up.

Is medical insurance included in the price of the trip?
It’s not included in the price as it is not required to travel with us, but we highly recommend that you purchase a travel insurance. We do have a travel insurance partner and can provide you more information about it, if you like to purchase it with us.
What happens if the trip I want doesn’t get enough people? Does it get cancelled?

If a trip is cancelled by us we will issue a full refund, or a full credit which can be applied to any other trip within 2 years, plus an additional 200€ to help you with changing any flights you may have already booked. If there is a cancellation you will be noticed at least one month prior to the trip date. 

If I can’t make it to the trip, how many days in advance do I have to cancel to get a refund?
If you need to cancel your trip, please call us and we will try to issue you a refund or a credit toward a future trip where possible.
Some of our trips have wait lists, so with enough notice we can generally fill your spot.
Just take into account that the initial deposit is non-refundable. As our trips are very personalized and take a lot of planning, for a 60% refund you’ll need to cancel at least 60 days prior to the trip. For cancellations made between 60 and 45 days prior to the departure, a credit minus your initial deposit will be issued towards a future trip within two years.
Can I change the date of my trip?

Yes, if you can’t make it to the trip for personal or medical reasons, but you still want to do the trip instead of getting a refund, you can move your trip date to another one in the future (within 2 years). This is only possible if you let us know at least 45 days in advance, to make sure we can fill your spot.

Rides and equipment

Do I have to bring my own bike?

You don’t have to bring your own bike as we have high quality bikes waiting for you and you would be able to choose the equipment that best suits your needs. But if you prefer to bring yours, you are more than welcome to do so.

Which kind of equipment do I have to bring?

We do not provide or have shoes available. Proper shoe fit, cleat setup and correct cleat for the pedals being used are critical. Please bring your riding shoes with you.

Do I have to be a professional biker to be able to take the rides?

An important part of our trip is designed for cyclists. You need to feel comfortable riding in a small group with other riders and using clipless pedals. If you are used to go out on your bike one or two times a week, then you will do fine and have a great time. Some of our guests even take a little bit of coaching in the months leading up to the trip to get the most out of their vacation.

How many days does the trip last?

Are the entrance to all the museums included in the price?

The entrance to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and the Casa Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena are included. Ticket entrance to any other museum is not included.

Can I bring someone with me, even if that person is not taking the bike rides with us?

Yes. You will need to point this out during the booking process to create a custom itinerary for them. Many times these activities include guided city tours, shopping at the most renowned outlets in our region, guided hikes or walks, wine tasting and many more.

What activities do you offer for partners/family that won’t do bike?

Most of all we offer guided city tours, exclusive shopping get aways, guided walks, wine tasting, visits to cheese, balsamic vinegar and other products factories, and many more.

Do I need to speak Italian to be able to do the trip?

No. All our guides speak English so you don’t have to worry about that.

What languages does the guides speak?

For the moment we only have Italian and English speaking guides but stay tuned.

How many guests are on a trip and on rides?

From 6 to 15, being 15 the maximum number of participants for each group.
